Paul Pierce is traveling to Australia during the first week of October for a whirlwind tour that aligns with the biggest week in the Australian sports year.
The Truth’s “You’re a Legend Tour” plans to feature six action-packed days of activities for Australian fans in Melbourne and Sydney. This tour adds to an already spectacular week in Australian sports that includes UFC 243, the NRL Grand Final, the NBL 2019-20 season tip-off, and the AFL Pro Combine.
With this being Paul’s first trip Down Under, fans will have the rare opportunity to interact with one of the NBA’s all-time great players.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to visit Australia for the first time and take in some of their biggest sporting events of the year,” Pierce said.
The NBA has become increasingly global in the past few years, and Australia has been producing some great young talent in the league recently. Ten Aussie players found themselves on NBA rosters last season, including Philadlephia 76ers star Ben Simmons, so The Truth is excited to see for himself what the basketball culture is like in Australia.
“There are more and more Australian players coming into the NBA each year and I have deep respect for the way they play the game. They are tough, super competitive and well-skilled,” Pierce said.

Great news! Paul should stop in on some of our local basketball stadiums and say hi to the kids, I’m sure they’d get a huge kick out of it!
How can I meet Paul, while he is in Melbourne, I am a huge fan, to me it would be like meeting Michael Jordan. All, I would like is to meet him and have a photo.
Cheers, Adam.
