Daryl Morey said he plans on “fine-tuning” the Rockets roster throughout the season after losing Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute in the offseason. The team added Carmelo Anthony late in the offseason, but the team could still benefit from upgrades and tweaks to the roster as the season progresses to continue to compete with the Golden State Warriors.

As the roster currently stands, Paul thinks there will be added pressure on James Harden to defend the best wings on opposing team every night, which is a responsibility formerly placed on Ariza or Mbah a Moute. So, the Truth thinks that Morey should look to upgrade on the wings to improve the Rockets chances this year.

“They have to find, there is always a need of ‘three-and-D’ guys, you need as many of those guys as you can have,” Pierce said, “especially when you have Chris Paul and James Harden doing all the playmaking, and you lost two of them. You lost Trevor Ariza and (Luc) Mbah a Moute.”
