The Pelicans have now stolen two games away from the Trail Blazers in Portland and are now in a 2-0 advantage headed back to New Orleans. Not saying Paul Pierce told you so, but that was one of his many predictions when it came to his upset picks. While Anthony Davis has been very dominant, Jrue Holiday has stolen the show and shut down Damian Lillard. This is the best he has played since he was on the Sixers and Pierce could not be happier.

“We are all excited, Jrue is playing well.”

“I’ll tell you what, Jrue Holiday is the most underrated player in the playoffs. That is because we haven’t seen a lot of him in the playoffs.”

Rajon Rondo has played a huge role in Holiday’s defensive development and Pierce has taken notice. Rondo has been a force in the league for many years especially when Pierce was on his side.
