There are few NBA players who have had a better career than LeBron James.
The four-time MVP is seeking his tenth NBA Finals appearance and fourth title this season. While it may not be easy, accomplishing this feat with a historic squad in the Los Angeles Lakers will surely cement his legacy as one of the greatest NBA players of all-time.
Many people already believe LeBron is at least a top 5 NBA player of all-time, but Paul Pierce has a different, more controversial opinion on the matter.
“If LeBron James wins his fourth title with three different franchises, I will put LeBron James back in my top 5 all-time NBA players,” stated Pierce. “He’ll be one of the few who’s ever won the championship, and been the guy; he will be MVP if they win, for three different franchises. He will be back in my top 5.”
This sparked a heated discussion between Pierce and fellow panelist Jay Williams about LeBron’s placement on the list of the best NBA players of all-time, all while Jalen Rose and host Jorge Sedano were cracking up.
