We already know Kevin Garnett is one of the headliners of the 2o20 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class, but with Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan, two of the league’s all-time greats, going in along with him, it’s appropriate to ask: is this the greatest class the Basketball Hall of Fame has ever seen?
In the latest edition of NBA Countdown: Stay Home, the crew of Paul Pierce, Jay Williams, Maria Taylor and Jalen Rose tackled that question. Though Paul says it’s not even a question.
“You talk about three transcendent players,” he said. “Arguably the three of them could down as Top 15, all three of them. Two of them straight out of high school, one of them went the college route and could be the greatest power forward, arguably of all-time. I can’t think of a better class with so many accolades.”
Watch below as the Countdown crew discusses potential rival classes, The Truth’s case for the 2021 Class and who might join him, as well as how soon the NBA might be able to get back to basketball and much more.
