Rob Pelinka is heading the Los Angeles Lakers’ coaching search since the departure of Magic Johnson. The reported top three candidates are Ty Lue, Juwan Howard and Monty Williams.

Paul believes that all three candidates could be good replacements for Luke Walton in Los Angeles because LeBron James would respect all three of them based on his past history with each candidate.

“When I look at this list, he’s been with Ty Lue, he’s been with Juwan (Howard),” Pierce said. “That’s a great list to start with because obviously a lot of decisions are going to be made by LeBron. These are three guys that I think LeBron really respects.”
