Blake Griffin sparked a controversy before his Detroit Pistons faced his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers, because of Griffin’s lack of recognition of Clippers owner Steve Ballmer before the game. Griffin sprinted into the locker room as it appeared that Ballmer was attempting to greet him.
After the game, Griffin said the sprint to the locker room his a part of his pre-game routine that dates back to his time in Los Angeles, and Paul sides with Griffin on this one.
“I’ll buy it. He’s locked in. He’s doing his pre-game routine,” Pierce said.
