Jimmy Butler’s honeymoon in Philadelphia may be nearing an end. Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Butler’s conduct in a recent film session was considered by some disrespectful to head coach Brett Brown, as he challenged the coach about his fit in the offense.

Butler is eligible to be a free agent after the season and will certainly be seeking a max contract, but the question is whether the Sixers will give it to him. Paul thinks he clearly has the talent of a max player, but he wonders if the Sixers will be willing to put up with his antics.

“He’s absolutely a max player,” Pierce said. “By all means you want to keep him, but is it worth [the drama]?”
