Kobe Bryant made recent comments stating that many Golden State Warriors’ fans are “bandwagon fans” that only began supporting the team at the start of their historic run.

Paul Pierce discussed this on The Jump with the rest of the crew and picked apart the comments made by the former Los Angeles Lakers star, and whether he was right to insinuate they’re bandwagon fans. Pierce emphasized that the Warriors have always had a great fan base and it is not just due to their recent success.

“I don’t look at the Warriors having bandwagon fans,” Pierce said. “They’ve always had great fans. I can remember since first year, going to Golden State and when they weren’t winning, when they weren’t making the playoffs, they still packed the house.”
