Just a few days after Steph Curry’ breath-taking shooting display, Klay Thompson turned in a historic performance against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. Thompson racked up 52 points, including 14 made three-pointers, and he did so in just 26 minutes of action.

Despite the shortened night, Thompson still broke Curry’s record for threes in a game in the 149-124 victory over the Bulls. His performance has the crew on The Jump wondering what Klay could do if he was a No. 1 option for a team.

“I like him in this role right now,” Pierce said. “It’s like the perfect storm. You’ve got so many other guys around him, so you can’t help. They’ve got a great system.”
