The Los Angeles Lakers made waves this offseason when they signed LeBron James to a four-year contract, revitalizing a proud franchise that has struggled mightily in recent years. They also signed a handful of veterans, including Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson, to complement their young talent.

With LeBron being the playmaker that he is, and all the unique pieces around him in his first season in Los Angeles, Paul Pierce thinks LeBron can bring back the flair Showtime Lakers.

“When I look at the team, when you’ve got LeBron, Rondo and Lance Stephenson, you can’t help but have a show out there. It’s going to be Showtime. They’re going to be fun to watch,” Pierce said. “I don’t know how many games they’ll win. I don’t know how well they’ll do in the playoffs, but they’ll definitely be fun to watch.”
