The Toronto Raptors made perhaps the most surprising trade of the offseason when they shipped DeMar DeRozan to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Kawhi Leonard. With a wide open Eastern Conference, the new-look Raptors will be looking to finally break through to the Eastern Conference Finals.

However, the Truth still questions how much better the Raptors will be after the blockbuster trade. Kawhi has looked impressive and healthy this preseason, but even still, Pierce is unsure if Tornto can challenge Boston or Philadelphia in the East.

“Do you think that Kawhi makes them that much better than what DeRozan made them?” Pierce said. “I’m trying to figure out in what way.”
