Now that Kyrie Irving and LeBron James have departed Cleveland, Kevin Love is set to be the leader of the franchise over the next few seasons. His workload will surely increase and his number should as well, but is he ready to be the face of the Cleveland Cavaliers and continue their playoff success?

The last time he was the primary option for a team was in Minnesota for a struggling Timberwolves franchise, but now he has championship experience under his belt. Paul believes his usage and statistics will increase, but the supporting cast, though talented, is much less experienced without James and Irving in town.

“He’ll definitely put up numbers,” Pierce said. “But, he’s got to carry all of the load. He’s going to see double teams now. He’s going to be the focal point of the offense, so the defense is going to be all over him now, instead of their attention on LeBron or when Kyrie was there.”
