The Houston Rockets dismantled the Minnesota Timberwolves, 119-100, to take a 3-1 lead in their first round series. What is even more impressive is the Rockets put up a 50 point quarter in the third quarter to pretty much send Minnesota on the flight back to Houston.

Paul Pierce reflects back to his days when he was on the Clippers and watched the Warriors erupt for 50 points in a quarter.

“I’ve only seen a 50 -point quarter twice and one was hung up on me when I was with the Clippers against Golden State.”

In awe, he just watched with amazement.

“I was sitting there, I wanted to order some popcorn, this was like a special moment even though I was on the other team just to see every shot go in was special.”
