Team leaders John Wall and Bradley Beal of the Wizards are fighting to stay alive as they are down 0-2 to the Toronto Raptors. They seem to be frustrated with one another and it is something Paul Pierce doesn’t take a liking to. As a veteran on the Wizards in previous years, he was able to help them mature and to grow into leaders for the foreseeable future.

“They are lacking that veteran presence such as myself to get in the huddle and say look guys this is what we have to do.”

“If they don’t get it together they can’t [win] like this, you have to move on from mistakes.”

Pierce is still very high on the Wizards as he believes they can win both games at home.

“Maybe they come back, who knows maybe we’re doubting them.”

“I think they’re winning both of these games.”
