The NBA released its 2014-15 schedule Wednesday evening, giving a glimpse at the road Paul Pierce and his Washington Wizards teammates will face as The Truth moves forward to the next chapter of his NBA career.

The Truth’s Wiz debut will be Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET against a familiar foe: the Miami Heat. They’ll take on the defending Eastern Conference champion Heat four times, including March 6 on ESPN.

Paul’s D.C. debut won’t come until Game 3, on Nov. 1 when the Wizards host the Milwaukee Bucks and Paul’s former coach for the Brooklyn Nets, Jason Kidd.

Paul and the Wizards will face his former team later in the season, in a home-and-home back-to-back, starting Jan. 16 in Washington and finishing the following night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Brookyln Nets v Boston Celtics

The Truth will also take on his longtime squad, the Boston Celtics, on consecutive nights. No. 34 will first head to Boston Dec. 7 before the Wizards host the C’s Dec. 8. Later that month, Washington will spend Christmas in Manhattan, where they’ll take on the New York Knicks in the holiday matinee at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The schedule ramps up for Washington in January, when they will meet the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs twice in the span of 10 days: Jan. 3 on the road and Jan. 13 at home.

The Wiz will be featured as part of the NBA’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day slate on Jan. 19  at 2 p.m. against the Philadelphia 76ers. That will be one of 15 Washington games on national television. That slate will start with a Nov. 15 playoff rematch against the Indiana Pacers on ESPN.

Boston Celtics v Cleveland Cavaliers, Game 5

Paul will also match up with his old rival LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. The national TV slate will also be highlighted by a key Jan. 9 tilt with the Chicago Bulls, a Jan. 21 meeting with the Oklahoma City Thunder, as well as another game each against the Cavs and the Heat.
